The South African Mint, struck a limited number of the traditional Krugerrand’s in
2 ounce gold in proof form for the first time in 2018.
As with all Krugerrand's, the obverse or front of the limited edition 2 ounce gold proof Krugerrand portrays the bust of Paul Kruger and the wording “South Africa - Suid Afrika”
The reverse of the 2 oz proof Krugerrand has the image of a Springbok, the mintage year, being 2018, and the denomination being 2 oz Fine gold.
