Twin Set

Both Nelson Mandela and Aung San Suu Kyi are Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, Aung San Suu Kyi in 1991 and Nelson Mandela in 1993, for their non violent struggle towards democracy.

The Mint of Norway minted 2011 Nobel Laureates platinum and silver twin sets in 2011.

The set consists of a half ounce platinum medallion which portrays the bust of Nelson Mandela on the obverse,and the wording “honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize 1993” surrounded by laurels,a  and a silver 1 ounce silver medallion which portrays the bust of Aung San Suu Kyi on the obverse, and honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize 1993 surrounded by laurels.
